The Remote Systems Analyst acts as the primary liaison between our business operations (Agent Success, Sales, Marketing) and the IT Development teams. This role will analyze, design, and configure core business applications, focusing on our Customer Relationship Management (CRM), property listing integrations, and data reporting platforms. The ideal candidate has experience in the real estate or PropTech sector and thrives in a fully remote, data-driven environment.
Requirements Elicitation: Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and agents to define system needs, translating complex business processes (e.g., lead routing, transaction management) into clear, documented technical specifications and user stories.
System Configuration & Design: Design and configure enhancements within the CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) including custom objects, workflow rules, validation rules, and page layouts to optimize agent performance.
Process Modeling: Create detailed data flow diagrams, process maps, and use cases to document current and proposed system architecture and workflows.
MLS & Data Integration: Serve as the subject matter expert for the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data feeds (IDX), ensuring seamless, real-time data synchronization between the MLS, the public-facing Harmony Homes website, and internal systems.
API Mapping & Testing: Define requirements for and test the integration points (APIs) between core applications, such as integrating the CRM with marketing automation tools, e-signing platforms (DocuSign), and financial reporting systems.
Platform Optimization: Continuously analyze and recommend improvements to our property search and listing platforms to enhance user experience (UX) and data quality.
Quality Assurance (QA): Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system deployments, updates, and major releases to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Triage and resolve complex, escalated system issues related to data integrity, system performance, and application functionality, collaborating with development and vendor teams.
Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including training materials, procedural guides, and technical specifications for both IT and end-users.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role focused on enterprise application analysis and design.
Proven experience working with and configuring a Tier 1 CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365).
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying data, troubleshooting, and validating data integrity across relational databases.
Experience with real estate-specific technology is highly preferred, including MLS/IDX feeds, e-signing/transaction management systems, or real estate finance applications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Solid understanding of integration patterns (e.g., APIs, ETL processes).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
